Joanna Burke Art Consultants, Inc. (JBAC) is looking to train a mature, personable, highly organized, detail-oriented, and character-driven individual to join our team and assist in person with a full range of studio responsibilities. Schedule is flexible. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday. We are in Silicon Beach at Playa Vista, California. Eligible candidates will include those with educational and professional experience in the following: art consulting, architectural and interior design firms, graphic design, and related creative business enterprises.
Job Requirements:
- Please be fully vaccinated. JBAC is a Covid-19 compliant workplace
- Minimum 3 years’ pre-Covid work experience
- Mac proficiency
- Mastery of Creative Suite: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
- Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Typing speed of 75 WPM
- Verbal and written English at an idiomatic level
- Excellent time management
- Strong organizational and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- 3-year resident of Los Angeles is required, Westside preferred
- Licensed driver with reliable vehicle
- Able to navigate and manage social media accounts
Job Responsibilities:
- Complex image manipulation to enable client visualization of art in situ and digital and analogue project presentations
- Reading and interpretation of architectural floor plans and elevations for art placement
- Align with project management system (online onboarding)
- Internet and social media research and posting
- Interfacing with vendors, clients, and bookkeeper/accountant
- Assist in writing project proposals and maintaining project status updates and attending in-person and remote meetings, creating meeting summaries and assisting with sharing documents
